  • 2025/26 athlete registrations are valid from the date of purchase until 31st March 2026
  • Athlete registrations are per athlete and non-transferable
  • All athlete registrations require ‘approval’ from the Northern Ski Team executive committee. This is to preserve the integrity of Northern Ski Team as a performance training organisation and to ensure the team’s vision are upheld to the highest standards. In the instance that ‘approval’ is not granted, you will be notified by email and/or phone within 10 working days and a full refund will be issued to your method of payment.

at Snowplanet:

  • School term training – Wednesday evenings
    Northern Ski Team coaches will be on-snow coaching during Wednesday night race training sessions.
  • Exclusive NST weekend training
    Eligibility to register for weekend Northern Ski Team training programmes that are exclusive to registered athletes.

    across New Zealand:

    • Mt Ruapehu training & race events
      We are pleased to have the approval of Ruapehu to run team training camps on the mountain, which will incorporate plenty of training drills and time to work on technique.
    • South Island training & race events
      The July School Holidays will see us return to Queenstown for a 3-week camp where we primarily train in race lanes at The Remarkables. The camp includes representation at race events, including Coronet Peak Junior Interfield and the National Primary School Championships (competing as individual athletes).

    • Chaperone opportunities
      Do you want to give your child the experience of joining us on ski race camps… but you’re not able to join us yourself? We may be able to help out. We’ll have room to chaperone approximately 4 x athletes for each trip away from Auckland. Although each trip may vary, we expect the cost to be approximately $150 per night (including transport and accommodation). Each chaperone arrangement requires the approval of the Northern Ski Team executive committee.

    • Training & race events
      January (& potentially April) each year will see us visit the slopes of Canada, as we trade-off the New Zealand sun for unparalleled time in dedicated Northern Ski Team race lanes in one of the most renowned ski race resorts in the Northern Hemisphere.
